THE FOUR STEP PROCESS

STEP ONE: ASSESS

The baseline of the performance program. This allows me to not only understand where your level of performance is now, to get a deeper understanding of you the person. It also allows us to set performance goals and priorities. The keys to unlocking your performance and maximising your training. We will look at:

  • Strength

  • Muscular Endurance

  • VO2max

  • Energy Systems

  • Mobility & Movement

  • Posture

  • Resting Heart Rate

  • Personality

STEP THREE: EXECUTE

Time to put what we have learnt and created in step one and step two and put them into practice. This is where the strength and conditioning sessions, sports therapy, recovery, nutrition and other factors will be implemented. Its go time!

STEP TWO: PREPARE

Once we have the baseline performance data from your assessment the is where the fun and magic starts to begin. This is where we set the roadmap for your journey to becoming the ultimate athlete. Elements we plan around here are:

  • Your baseline performance results from the assessment

  • Your competition dates

  • Your travel demands

  • Time available for training

  • Sponsor/work/school commitments

  • Your recovery

  • The goals

  • Key competition dates

STEP FOUR: REPEAT

Based on the plan, your baseline results and our goals we will periodically repeat the process throughout the season. This allows us to consistently analyse and track where your performance levels are, to refine the program and continually push performance forward.
